Community Personal Care Worker HCP / DVA - PermanentPermanent Personal Care Workers - Melbourne Holicare is an approved HCP, Flexible Care and DVA Community Nursing provider in Eastern Metro Victoria with existing services in the areas of Ballarat and Melbourne.

You will be committed to providing quality personal care and delivering excellent services to our clients.
As a Personal Care Worker, you will:
Be compassionate, reliable, and respectfulAssist with all areas of personal care including bathing/showering, hygiene, dressing, grooming, fitting of aids, and eating mealsAssist with domestic duties and other activities of daily livingComply with operational guidelines and task directivesWork collaboratively as part of a teamBuild rapport with families, team members, and other stakeholdersBe able to do inactive sleepovers plus 4 hours active workHave two (2) years' experience as a Personal Care WorkerHold a Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care or Disability, or Certificate III in Individual SupportPossess well-developed communication and interpersonal skillsMaintain a reasonable degree of physical fitnessExhibit flexibility to work available shifts on short noticeHave a valid Australian Driver's LicenseProvide a current Police Clearance certificateComplete a Working with Vulnerable/Aged care people specific checkHave Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations including boosterWhy you should join Holicare: Well-supported team with ongoing training/mentoring, and shadowing sessions when starting - BUDDY SHIFTCareer progression and development opportunitiesBe a part of a family-oriented organisation, with our central team focused on continued improvement dedicated to supporting our employeesFosters a culture that is nurturing, collaborative, and autonomousAbout Holicare: Holicare has expertise in Clinical Case Management, led by a registered Nurse with over 28 years of community experience.
