Are you a motivated, detail-oriented professional with a passion for real estate?
We are seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee our diverse portfolio.
Key Responsibilities: As the key point of contact, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the entire portfolio.
No two days will be the same, so your flexible approach and ability to think on your feet will be the key to your success.
Accountabilities include:
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all tenants and supporting external agentsTrust accounting, including day-to-day receipting and reconciliationsNegotiate new leases, lease renewals, and surrenders with tenants as requiredEnsure compliance with the Retail and Residential Tenancies ActEnsure rent and outgoings are collected on time and manage high-risk tenants closely with the support of the wider businessManage appropriate property maintenance and compliance regimeManage lease compliance, provide interpretations, and resolve any disputes that may arise between related partiesReview and facilitate fit-out drawings and signage requirements for tenants as per business guidelinesManage the authorisation, payment, and recovery of property-related outgoingsLiaise with lawyers and negotiate lease documentation for lease renewals, assignments, surrenders, and variations as requiredProvide monthly reports to the business on property performanceManagement of facilities at home office buildingAbout You: Previous experience in property management is essentialProficient in reading and accurately interpreting lease agreementsDetailed understanding of retail and residential lease legislation, and knowledge of how to apply itAbility to effectively negotiate and problem solveExperience negotiating lease contract documentationExceptional communication skills, written and verbalBasic understanding of, or exposure to, Trust AccountingStrong attention to detailThis is a dynamic and diverse business, offering a role where you can really take ownership and play an integral role.
