Medical PHO in Adult Internal MedicineA great temporary full-time opportunity has come available for a Medical Practitioner to work in Adult Internal Medicine, located in Rural Queensland.
This role requires 76 hours per fortnight.
Clinical ResponsibilitiesInitiate, maintain and be responsible for the clinical care of patients under the supervision of relevant Consultants.Supervise day-to-day activities of junior medical staff to ensure appropriate standards of care are maintained and that junior medical staff are trained to adequately fulfil their duties.Participate in the provision of an on-call roster or shift roster to provide services out of hours, at night and on weekends, as directed by the relevant Director.Health ServiceYou will be based at the primary teaching hospital of the well-established School of Rural and Remote Medicine, James Cook University Medical School, and play an active role in medical student and junior doctor education.
