Head of Operations .The RoleAs the
Head of Operations , you will play a key role, overseeing the strategic and operational delivery of Crohn's Colitis Cure's initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a small but growing team to ensure our operations run smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for translating our long-term vision into actionable plans, overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and driving continuous improvement.If you are a results-oriented leader with a passion for operational excellence in the healthcare or research sectors, this is the perfect opportunity for you.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership:
Develop and execute comprehensive operational plans to achieve strategic objectives.Project Management:
Oversee key projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.Writing and Proposal Development:
Lead the drafting of Statements of Work (SOWs), business plans, grant applications, and research proposals.Financial Oversight:
Manage budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring responsible financial stewardship.Process Optimisation:
Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and implement process improvements.Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor direct reports, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.Essential Skills and ExperienceProven experience in operationalising strategy into actionable plans, particularly in healthcare, MedTech, or research environments.Strong writing and communication skills, with experience drafting SOWs, business plans, grant proposals, and research submissions.Technical expertise in healthcare or research, with a preference for candidates familiar with IBD.Solid financial management experience, including budget oversight and resource allocation.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.Strong process management and time prioritisation skills.Preferred Skills and ExperienceIBD Knowledge:
Familiarity with Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, or related conditions.Compliance and Risk Management:
Experience with regulatory compliance and organisational risk management.Continuous Improvement:
Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies.Stakeholder Collaboration:
