Your New Company:You will be joining a new, up and coming Project Management Consultancy, based in Melbourne CBD.Although still in the early years of existence, this consultancy has already established key relationships with a wide variety of clients through the impressive networks of the directors, each with over 15 years' experience working within senior management positions with highly regarded, Melbourne based, consultancies and contractors.Already they've developed a wide portfolio spanning across multiple sectors, including Build to Rent Residential, Commercial, Education, Retail, Student Accommodation, Healthcare, Civic, Sports & Rec, Data Centres, and Aviation.This is a growing company, with a solid foundation for future success, which offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and motivated project manager who wants to get involved with building a successful brand and become a key figure within the business.Your New Role:You will be joining the team as a Project Manager, where you will take a lead role on projects and within the office, working closely with the Directors and wider team.Within this role, initially you will be working on Data Centre projects, but you will also be given the opportunity to work across all project sectors within the company portfolio, which will enable you to build on your overall skills and experience, while also providing you with variety in your day-to-day work.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of a project, while ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.Some specific responsibilities may include: Developing project plans and timelines, including project objectives, deliverables, and milestones.Managing project teams and coordinating the efforts of team members to ensure that the project is completed on schedule.Communicating with the client to understand their needs and objectives, and to ensure that the project is meeting their expectations.Managing project budgets and financials, including tracking project costs and managing project finances.Identifying and managing project risks, and developing and implementing risk management plans.Managing project change requests and ensuring that changes are implemented in a timely and efficient manner.Coordinating and managing project testing and quality assurance activities.Leading project closeout activities, including finalizing project deliverables, conducting project evaluations, and documenting project results.Providing guidance and mentoring to project team members, and ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to complete their tasks.Continuously monitoring project progress and making adjustments as necessary to ensure that the project is on track to meet its objectives.Job Requirements:To be suitable for this role, you must have the following:A degree in a relevant field such as project management, architecture, engineering, or construction management.A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, where you have ideally worked on Data Centre projects, however Life Sciences/Pharma experience will also be considered.Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead and manage teams, delegate tasks, and make decisions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.Strong financial and budget management skills, with the ability to manage project budgets and financials.Additional Info/Benefits:Competitive salary packageFlexible working optionsExcellent progression opportunities.CBD based office and very accessible by multiple forms of Public TransportRegular social events, including weekly drinks and quarterly team social events.Mentorship from Directors who have a wealth of experience.Free Barista Coffee#J-18808-Ljbffr
