Medical Specialists EA 2022 – 2026 (Specialist Year 1-9) Up to 76 hours per fortnight Full Time / Part Time, Permanent ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council.
Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River. ERH provides a comprehensive range of acute, medical, surgical and sub-acute services plus residential aged care and a broad range of community healthcare services.

Join our team to experience a dynamic work environment with potential for advancement and professional development ERH seeks to appoint a high calibre applicant for the role of Staff Geriatrician within the Medical Services Division at Echuca Regional Health.
Key responsibilities include: Role model the delivery of Geriatric Medicine servicesUndertake regular Rehabilitation Unit ward roundsSupport the delivery of a regular Cognitive Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS) clinic and/or other clinic/s in geriatric medicine as rosteredSupervise doctors in training (DiTs) involved in the care of Geriatric/Rehabilitation Unit patientsSupport the development of relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and standards for geriatric care at ERHActively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requestedMaintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice.Qualifications/experience required: Specialist registration with the Medical Board of AustraliaSignificant experience in Geriatric MedicineVision of adult medicine services, ideally including High Dependency Unit (HDU) and/or Acute Medical Unit (AMU) services.Working for ERH At ERH we offer a supportive and inclusive culture that offers opportunity for growth and development.
