Job Description
Join a dynamic team in Western Sydney as our Hospital Business Manager.
As we celebrate 25 years of serving the people and pets of Sydney, ARH has expanded its reach with the opening of our 9th site, a state-of-the-art, 1200m2 purpose-built facility launched in October 2023.
Ideally located near the M4 and M7 interchange, our hospital is positioned at the heart of the rapidly developing Greater Western Sydney, close to the new international airport and major infrastructure developments.
A multidisciplinary veterinary hospital offering dedicated Specialist and Emergency services with a 24/7 operation in progress.
Our cutting-edge facility features a full diagnostic imaging suite (including High-field MRI, CT, Fluoroscopy, Endoscopy, and Ultrasound), a modern ICU, three operating theatres, and integrated technology platforms such as RX works and SmartFlow for seamless patient management.
Additionally, we offer on-site training facilities, including a wet lab and education centre.
As an integral member of the leadership team, you will drive business development, strategy, and operations.
In collaboration with the Operations Manager, veterinarians, nurses, technical staff, and support teams, your role will be to ensure the successful and efficient running of the hospital while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional patient and client care.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership: Full P&L responsibility for the hospital, including financial reporting and budgeting.
Strategic Planning: Partner with the leadership team to develop and implement business strategies and growth initiatives.
Team Support & Development: Work closely with recruitment and front-line teams, supporting staff development and ensuring resource allocation aligns with high patient care standards.
Marketing & Partnerships: Coordinate with the National Marketing team to drive marketing efforts and build strong relationships with referring veterinary partners.
Collaboration: Liaise with other hospital managers and the broader Greencross leadership team to optimize efficiency, profitability, and business alignment.
What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate is an influential and approachable leader with demonstrated success in a management role, preferably within the veterinary or healthcare industries.
You should be adaptable, collaborative, and proactive in identifying and implementing improvements.
Candidates with qualifications in veterinary nursing or as a veterinarian, along with post-graduate business qualifications, will be highly regarded.
