Join our Communication and Change team to provide strategic, end-to-end communication management, support, and advice to internal and external audiences on a range of projects and initiatives.
We're looking for an experienced communications specialist ready to dive into our fast-paced Senior Advisor (Comms & Marketing) role.
With a great eye for detail and your exceptional engagement skills, you will collaborate with team members across our branch and leverage a variety of communication channels to directly support Customer Services Branch initiatives.

The Communication and Change team partners with business areas to deliver timely and tailored communications, change and media support and assistance.
We empower Customer Services Branch to achieve its strategic goals while consistently enhancing our team, employee, and customer experiences.
What you will do: In your role, you will:
Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the branch's reputation and support our customers, using your expertise in communication, marketing, and media to devise and execute promotional strategies and materials.
Manage the branch's communication during emergencies, coordinating with leaders and experts to ensure operations continue smoothly and that essential information is distributed to all involved parties.
Create, refine, and assess a variety of communication content, ensuring it is audience-appropriate and adheres to departmental guidelines.
Provide valuable insights and guidance that bolster the branch's and department's public image.
Engage with team members at all levels, discern their communication needs, and formulate strategic solutions to support the branch's objectives and minimise potential risks.
Offer expert advice and training to enhance the team's skills in communication and issues management, contributing to the development and execution of projects and initiatives.
Lead by example in team management, mentoring team members in communication practices and professional growth, while keeping informed of internal and external activities to proactively address communication challenges.
Nurture relationships with the department's Strategic Communication unit to drive cooperative and effective communication outcomes.
Who we are looking for: An individual with:
A degree in journalism, marketing or communications, or a minimum of two years' experience in a media or communications role is desirable.
Experience with the following programs and applications is highly desirable: SharePoint web content management system.
Vision6 email marketing software (or similar platform, like MailChimp).
Adobe Creative Suite applications, including InDesign, Premiere Pro, PhotoShop and Illustrator.
Visme or similar web-based design program.
