As a member of the Catering team at St Francis, Grafton, you will be preparing high quality food and providing a great dining service to our residents to ensure a high quality of life.
About the Role: Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as requiredSupporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spiritWorking in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and proceduresTo be successful in this role you'll need: A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderlyStrong communication skills and a positive attitudeCertificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essentialGood understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygieneWarm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of peopleAble to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their familiesNDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtainWhat we can offer you: Competitive hourly pay rateFitness Passport gym benefitPaid Parental leaveLong Service leave after 5 yearsAdditional week of leave for Enterprise Agreement shift workers40+ Locations across NSW and QLD if you choose to moveA values based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgroundsWe know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.
