Piacentini & Son has a rich 80-year history of operations throughout Australia, supporting the mining and resources sectors with mining and earthmoving services.About the OpportunityWe are seeking an Experienced Health, Safety & Environment Advisor (HSE) for works based at our Midwest Mineral Sands projects.
As a HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, compliance and well-being of our teams.
This role will work closely with site management, whilst being strongly supported by our Bunbury, WA based HSE team.About the RoleDevelopment, coordination and monitoring of the company safety policy, programs and proceduresEnsure consultative mechanisms are developed and that consultation is occurring between management and employeesEvaluation of safety products and personal protective equipment which are used within the organisationJob Hazard Analysis and safe working procedure developmentConsult / advise to senior managementConduct investigations and analysis of incidents, first aid, hazard and accident reports, to identify root causes and trendsMonitor and keep up to date with Legislative requirements and OSH literature relevant to the company operationsInduction of manager, supervisors and employees as to the company safety management systemsDevelopment and coordination of OHS training programs for all employeesKeep organizational HSE records and statisticsPeriodic auditing of HSE management systemsAbout You5 + Years Experience in a similar roleCertificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or Higher)ICAM Lead Investigator TrainingFirst Aid Certificate (Senior or higher)Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of all employeesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsHold a valid Australian Drivers LicenceWillingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol ScreenAbout the Offer8:6 or 7:7 Days Only Roster – 12 Hour ShiftsAttractive Salary PackagePermanent Full Time OpportunityGreat camp with meals, gym, sporting facilities and planned activitiesDrive In Drive Out RoleGreat benefits including Corporate HBF private health discount, discounted hotel stays and travel incentivesEmployee Assistance Programme for all employees and immediate familyOpportunity to work for an industry leading organisation with one of the largest CAT fleets in the Southern HemisphereFamily owned and operated business from our offices based in Bunbury, Western AustraliaApplyIf you're ready to take on this exciting challenge, we invite you to apply and join our team through the link in Seek.Piacentini & Son values diversity in its workforce and encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to apply.We respectfully request that there are no approaches from recruitment agencies in relation to this role.
