Enterprise Architect Reserve Bank of Australia, Sydney, Australia Are you ready to shape the future of infrastructure that enables critical national payments infrastructure at the Reserve Bank?The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) is looking to hire an Enterprise Program Architect for the Core Modernisation Program.
This role is a fixed term contract until June 2027 based at Baulkham Hills.
In addition to participating in the design aspects of the infrastructure and migration, the role will drive alignment across program, technology, and business stakeholders ensuring performance, resilience, availability, and security requirements are met in the target state.
This role is part of a team that provides IT strategy and architecture services to the Bank.
We work directly with IT and Business teams to ensure our technology investments are aligned with the Bank's strategy and plans.
You'll bring with you a strategic mindset, strong forward thinking, and the ability to maintain alignment to the agreed target state across program and technical staff.
We are looking for an Enterprise Architect who: Leads the development of target state strategies and technology plans for the Core Modernisation Program, working closely with Enterprise and Principal Infra Architects, Senior Program and Business stakeholders, and Partners/vendors.
Leads analysis work and identification of changes needed in the Bank's IT target state operating model.
Proven ability to work with project and technical staff to identify and negotiate opportunities for improvement within the constraints of a project.
Can lead the development of architectures for complex domains/solutions and plan and govern against these.
Has the ability to lead, develop and motivate a practice area or project of IT specialists.
Will identify and highlight potential delivery and delivered risks/impacts that need to be mitigated throughout the project.
Provides senior technical leadership to the IT department, including expertise in infrastructure, data, applications, security technologies and their deployment.
Helps to set technology standards, advise on their application, and ensure compliance.
Key skills and experience required for the role: In-depth knowledge and experience in roadmap, strategy, and target state design development for complex data centre migrations.
Sound understanding of enterprise infrastructure relevant to on-premise datacentres, with knowledge/experience with cloud-based alternatives and Saa S based supporting technologies.
Experience in resolving solution design and architecture contentions with stakeholders in a timely way.
Excellent Stakeholder Engagement skills and experience in representing the department across the Bank.
Has experience working with integration partners/vendors in large programs of work.
Qualifications relevant to the Bank or IT industry, including TOGAF, and technical domain certifications.
