General Practice Nurse

Ability to work independently and as a part of a teamExcellent communication skills with patients, their families and other members of the general practice teamEnthusiastic Experienced GP nurseExperience with Medical Director Software is idealCurrent registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled NurseExemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to demonstrate empathy for patients, families and carersWell-developed analytical and problem-solving skillsCommitment to the application of quality improvement and best practice principlesStrong commitment to quality patient careDemonstrated professional reliability, motivation, initiative and flexibilityBe a good team playerPositive can do attitude
The candidate is expected to do both admin and clinical work:
Training will be provided in the following:
Reception support
Chronic disease management and health assessmentChildhood, general and travel immunisationsCOVID 19 immunisation ECGSpirometryWound Care managementAssisting with minor proceduresSterilizationExperience in vaccine and cold chain management
We encourage candidates with no previous General Practice experience as well to apply for this position.
We have a full time Registered Nurse who can give hands on training in every aspect of General Practice Nursing role.
