Position Overview: We're seeking a dynamic Senior Team Leader to join the Sandbox VR Gold Coast team.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, leading a team of Guest Experience Guides to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
This is a casual role to start, with the potential to transition to full-time as we grow.
As a Team Leader, you'll not only manage day-to-day operations but also play an important role in sales, marketing, and promotional activities to drive success.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a team of Guest Experience Guides, ensuring high standards of customer service and smooth operations.
Provide ongoing training, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Drive sales initiatives and assist with marketing and promotional activities to attract new guests and retain loyal customers.
Supervise the maintenance and safety of all VR equipment, ensuring safety protocols are consistently followed.
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of VR holodecks, equipment, and public spaces.
Assist with scheduling shifts and managing staffing levels during peak hours.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, ensuring a positive guest experience.
Report directly to the General Manager, contributing to operational reports, performance metrics, and team development.
Ensure all health and safety protocols are adhered to, including performing regular safety checks.
What We're Looking For:
Proven leadership experience in customer service, hospitality, entertainment, or similar industries.
A passion for virtual reality, gaming, and immersive technologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Experience in sales, marketing, or promotional activities is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to resolve issues quickly and stay calm under pressure.
Availability for flexible working hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
First Aid and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is a bonus but not mandatory at the start of employment.
