We are excited to be seeking a passionate and dedicated Teachers' Assistant to join our community in Term 1, 2025.
Applications are invited from those with a passion for working with students with additional needs, who enjoy working collaboratively and who wish to be a part of a caring and innovative school community.
Experience working with students with a disability is desirable but not essential.
This full-time position will commence Term 1, 2025.
(Applications will be reviewed in Term 4, 2024)
New Hope Christian School is a special school providing Christian Education for students with a mild to moderate level of intellectual delay or Autism in Kindergarten to Year 12.
This co-educational Christian learning community is committed to developing and nurturing its students.
New Hope Christian School is located within the grounds of Pacific Hills Christian School and is a part of the Pacific Group of ten Christian schools, with six of these schools located in regional NSW.
Each student is unique, and we aim to develop the full potential in each individual by providing a mixture of individualised and small group instruction and support.

Desired Skills and Experience To be effective in this position you will have:
A passion to support students with special needs Well-developed interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills to work collaboratively with colleagues Initiative and capacity to work with minimal supervision Current First Aid Certificate Ability to facilitate a safe work environment Qualified or working toward a qualification in Education Support or a Special Needs Certificate As a valued member of our community you will:
