Job Description
Managing the end-to-end product development process from ideation to completion, including research, concept development, testing and production to launch.
Meeting and collaborating with the product development team on a weekly basis.
Monitoring timelines, and ensuring adherence to schedules.
Presenting concepts and costings to management for final decision making.
Ensuring projects remain within budgeted costs, and researching cost-saving solutions.
Negotiating and communicating with existing suppliers regarding pricing, timelines, or issues.
Sourcing new suppliers, local and overseas.
Liaising with warehouse team to ensure all products arrive in good condition.
Following up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
The Successful Applicant
Demonstrated expertise in Project Management.
Experience using project management software such as JIRA or similar.
Experience in new Product Development field.
Proven track record in project management and organizational proficiency.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience managing and coordinating within a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in creative problem-solving techniques.
Practical, optimistic attitude with adept problem-solving skills.
