This is a unique opportunity to work with a values-driven organisation that is making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and their families.
You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team environment, with access to:
Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities.
A competitive salary package, including salary sacrificing options.
Flexible work arrangements to promote work-life balance.
The chance to contribute to innovative programs and services that impact real change in the community.
The Organisation Our client has been a leader in the human services sector for over 55 years, transforming lives and building stronger communities across New South Wales.
Their expertise spans mental health, disability, aged care, and homelessness prevention, with a focus on delivering services that are respectful, responsive, and impactful.

The mental health program you'll be leading, i.am, is designed to provide essential support for children and young people and their families, utilising innovative, evidence-based approaches to ensure the best possible outcomes.
It bridges the gap between community and clinical care, emphasising the importance of engagement, collaboration, and empowerment.

The program offers specialised support for young people experiencing suicidality, self-harm, and other mental health challenges, with an emphasis on tailored, flexible, and holistic interventions.
This includes personalised planning and care delivery to empower young people to overcome barriers, strengthen resilience, and achieve their goals.

The Opportunity The Clinical Lead will play a pivotal role in driving high-quality, client-centred care within a vital mental health service supporting young people.
This key leadership position will involve guiding and mentoring a team of Support Workers and Peer Workers, fostering their professional development and ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care.
The Clinical Lead will support the team by conducting assessments, reviewing risk assessments and safety plans, and providing expert guidance on complex cases.

The key areas of responsibility for the Clinical Lead include:
Providing clinical input, consultation, and oversight of decision-making to ensure evidence-based, respectful, and responsive customer care.
Guiding and mentoring a multidisciplinary team to encourage professional growth and deliver high-quality, client-centred care.
Building strong relationships with families, doctors, hospitals, schools, and other referral sources to drive positive outcomes.
Monitoring and evaluating customer outcomes, stakeholder satisfaction, and the effectiveness of supports provided.
Supporting the development and implementation of organisational policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Leading the team in achieving and maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, certifications, and accreditations.
About You For this opportunity, our client is seeking an experienced leader with a strong clinical background and the ability to drive program excellence within a client-focused, multidisciplinary environment.
You will have a passion for improving the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges and a commitment to innovative, evidence-based practices.

With excellent leadership capabilities and demonstrated success in delivering impactful results, the successful candidate will have:
Qualifications as an allied health professional (e.g., Psychologist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist) with eligibility for AHPRA or AASW registration.
Extensive experience in person-centred care within the mental health or disability sectors, with a proven ability to manage complex cases.
Demonstrated success in leading engaged and high-performing teams, mentoring multidisciplinary staff to achieve their best.
A track record of delivering transformative outcomes through clinical supervision, best practice initiatives, and continuous improvement.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and external partners to foster collaboration and trust.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills, balancing competing priorities to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Proficiency in managing compliance requirements while maintaining a high standard of care and service delivery.
