Our client's Microsoft Business Solutions team is a Microsoft Gold Partner and leader in Microsoft software implementations for medium to large organisations, providing their clients with the ability to keep up with the ever-changing digital world by implementing Microsoft's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Engagement (CE) software from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) software line.
As they continue to grow and strengthen their support and managed services offerings, they are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join their team.
Role overview Our client is looking for an experienced and talented Data Solution Architect who will help to grow our data delivery team: architecting, designing and implementing large-scale Data Platform, Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics solutions for our clients.
The role is highly technical and requires a robust understanding and hands-on expertise of Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, data architecture and modelling concepts.
The role also demands strong analytical, problem solving, and planning skills.
The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills and the motivation to achieve results in a dynamic business environment.

Requirements: Minimum of three years working in a similar senior roleExperience in designing and implementing Azure Data solutions using services such as:Microsoft FabricAzure Synapse AnalyticsAzure DatabricksAzure Data Lake Storage Gen2Azure SQL DatabaseAzure Data FactoryAzure DevOpsAzure Stream AnalyticsMicrosoft Power BIFamiliar with Azure PurviewAn understanding of Master Data Management and Data Governance frameworksFamiliar with development approaches such as CI/CDStrong communication and collaboration skillsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to work as a team player and leader in a diverse technical environmentBe customer-service orientedBe able to work in a fast-paced, changing environmentProficient in spoken and written EnglishWilling to travel across the UK and abroad when requiredGraduate-level education in Computer Science or a relevant field, or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable levelFormal training and/or certification on related technologies is highly valuedKnowledge of Common Data Models/Industry Data Models will be considered an assetExperience in OLAP technology and the Microsoft on-premises BI Stack (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS) will be useful but is not compulsoryKnowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 products and the Microsoft Power Platform will be considered an assetResponsibilities Architecting and overall end-to-end design, deployment, and delivery of Azure Data Platforms, across Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Lakehouses, pipelines, BI and Data Analytics solutionsPresales, estimating and proposal writing, responding to RFPsRemaining up to date in new and emerging technologiesWorking with clients to develop data technology strategy and roadmaps, and plan deliveryOversight and support of delivery team outputsData modelling, design, and buildEnforcing technical architecture and documentation standards, policies and proceduresAnalysing, implementing, and resolving issues with existing Azure Data PlatformsWorking with business experts and customers to understand business needs, and translate business requirements into reporting and data analytics functionalityAssisting in scoping, estimation, and task planning for assigned projectsFollowing the project work plans to meet functionality requirements, project objectives and timelinesProviding accurate and complete technical architectural documentsAddressing customer queries and issues in a timely mannerProviding mentoring and hands on guidance to other team members #J-18808-Ljbffr
