Job Description: Permanent, part time position, 20 hours per week Fitzroy location Ongoing training and development opportunities About the Role You will be working as a Grade 2 Nuclear Medicine Technologist and will work in both general Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT.

Under the direction of senior Nuclear Medicine Technologists, you will provide quality Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging examinations in a safe environment.
Process all imaging data and prepare it for reporting by the medical staff.
Contribute to the learning and development of others Classifications for this position will range from Nuclear Medicine Technologist Grade 2 CJ7 - CT7 ($88,467- $101,691 per annum pro rata).
Your Contribution Bachelor of Applied Science / Medical Radiations in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent Current Medical Radiation Practitioner registration with AHPRA to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Radiation use licence issued by the Department of Health Successful completion of the Diagnostic CT in Molecular Imaging Course (VSNMT) or equivalent qualification to enable you to perform diagnostic CT within the hybrid imaging environment Experience sufficient to permit eligibility for accreditation by the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM) Excellent technical and clinical skills in the full range of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures.
Experience in the handling and administration of both diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.
Excellent communications skills when interacting with both patients and staff.
Awareness of all aspects of radiation safety as they pertain to the practices of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History check, or willing to obtain What We Offer A focus on wellbeing initiatives, with regular events and programs Confidential, solutions-focused employee counselling A healthy work/life balance encouraged.
