To find out more visit our website at www.msssecurity.com.auCultureOur employees enjoy working with MSS because we:Have a high people and culture focus;Offer extensive development and progression opportunities;Provide stability and certainty in a role;Work collaboratively together and are high achievement focused;And because we know how to have fun whilst getting the job done.Full time role for Security officer in Bundoora onsite at La Trobe universityPay rate of $27.56 + super and shift penalties where applicableWork with an Employer of choice and industry leaderMSS Security is looking for Security Officers to provide security presence at the University campus in Bundoora and to provide excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors.The role has a rotating roster over 7 days with 12 hr shifts.Duties include but are not limited to:Conduct foot patrols of campuses and be willing to walk for prolonged periodsControl Room coverage and supervision of campus activities and eventsEnsure property is locked and unlocked as requiredDirect and help people to navigate around the campusWrite reports in response to incidentsCommunicate calmly and clearly with key stakeholdersAbout you:Physically fit and able to walk and stand for prolonged periodsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFriendly, approachable and able to build rapport with studentsStrong awareness of surroundingsWhat we are looking for:Current Victorian Security LicenceCertificate II in Security Operations with Control room licenseCurrent Valid First Aid Certificate (Level 2)How to applyMSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
