Ezy Group is a growing company seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join our team.
The Ezy Group comprises of Ezy Vehicle Rentals, Ezy Mechanical, Ezy Mechanical Towing, Ezy Sign Solutions and Ezy Express Freight.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Accountant and GM, you will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and assisting in month-end closing, end of financial reporting, and bank reports.
Office duties include: answering phones when required, managing office supply stocks, overseeing the admin team, as well as other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Accounts Payable/Receivable Debt Collection Assist in the completion of month-end processes Assistance with preparation of regulatory reporting obligations including BAS & PAYG Liaising with banks and insurance regarding vehicle purchases/sales Other Ad-hoc duties THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
Must be a qualified Accountant Experience with preparation of BAS and PAYG obligations Intermediate to Advanced level Excel skills Experience with accounting packages such as Xero At least one year of creditor and debtor accounts experience Excellent problem-solving skills Able to work effectively both autonomously and within a team High level of attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organisational skills Analytical skills to interpret and comprehend financial and non-financial data Ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Maintain a culture of performance, professionalism, and continuous improvement THE BENEFITS
