You will provide support to a wide portfolio of clients with a mix of tax & business service clients. This is an ideal opportunity to step into a great culture with lots of extra benefits and perks all with a flexible work environment and great pathways to progress your career.Joining incentiveAttractive remuneration packageFlexible working arrangements availableFantastic office location in Mackay CBDA supportive and friendly workplace cultureWeekly training sessions to support CPDMonthly team lunches providedStudy SupportSocial club events throughout the yearThe Role:Prepare financial statements, tax returns and tax plans for a wide range of individual and business clientsPrepare Business Activity Statements and periodic operational reviewsLiaising with the ATOPrepare additional statutory reporting requirements, including payroll tax and WorkCoverThe creation and implementation of business cash flow, tax planning, forecasting and other various value-add reporting materialMentoring cadets and traineesDirect access to a partner at the firm4+ years of business services and taxation experienceSound knowledge of accounting, financial and business principles and proceduresCompleted or studying towards a Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent or currently studying towards or recently attained CA/CPA qualificationsOrganisation and time management skillsStrong teamwork skills, with experience working towards team goals and KPIsProficiency in MYOB, Xero & Quickbooks accounting software would be beneficialCandidates wishing to apply are invited to submit their resume and a short cover letter outlining why they wish to join Brown & Bird to Dan Ross on ****** close Friday, 22nd November 2024.
