Assistant Manager - Business AdvisoryDarwinService/Department:Business Services & Corporate AdvisorySector:AccountingJob type:Full timeDescription: Our Business Advisory Team is growing; hence we are looking for an exceptionally talented, innovative and motivated Business Advisory Services (Assistant) Manager to become part of our Northern Territory Business Advisory team. The primary focus of this role is to provide a range of accounting solutions to our clients. This role will see you progress into the next phase of your career with solid training, support and technical exposure as well as the opportunity to mentor and guide more junior staff members. Working with a variety of clients from a number of different industries, this opportunity provides amazing growth potential for an aspiring Senior Accountant or Manager. Essential Duties:While at Moore, you will be responsible for a broad range of accounting and management activities including but not limited to:Maintaining, producing, and interpreting financial reports using Xero, MYOB and Reckon APS.Preparation and review of complex individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns and financial statements.Calculation and reconciliation of Payroll Tax and Worker's Compensation Insurance.Preparation of management accounts, cash flow reports and annual financial reports across various entity structures and industries.Preparation of invoices at the end of an engagement.Requirements:5 years + experience working in a public practice.CAANZ qualified Chartered Accountant or CPA qualification.Extensive experience in Xero, MYOB and Reckon APS.Proven ability to effectively communicate with team members, colleagues, clients and stakeholders, both written and verbal.Proven ability to plan and prioritise work with strong attention to detail.Displayed ability to think critically and innovatively.This is an outstanding opportunity to work as a part of a dynamic team, earn a competitive salary, and the opportunity to progress your career within the organisation.How to Apply:To apply, upload your Covering Letter, detailing how you meet the requirements of this position and your CV outlining your work history.You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this position.Moore Australia is passionate about creating a culture that values inclusion and diversity, where all our people are treated fairly and respectfully.
