The Role: A fantastic opportunity has become available for a suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Full Time Night Cleaning Services Supervisor to join our team at Canberra Centre in Canberra, ACT 2608. As the Night Cleaning Services Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our cleaning team, transforming curious visitors into loyal customers while supervising and leading a team dedicated to providing award-winning retail customer service.
As part of the Assetlink team, your main focus will be on developing a high-performing cleaning team.
You will efficiently manage all day-to-day cleaning operations, including staff training, tracking cleaning service delivery, rostering, auditing, and other operational requirements.
The roster for this position is:
Monday to Friday - 1034 to 0600 If you have leadership and commercial or retail cleaning experience and would like to be part of a team that makes a difference, then we would love to hear from you.
Role Requirements: Managinga high-performing cleaning teamProvide effective leadership to cleaning personnel, including mentoring and trainingLeading and inspiring team members to deliver superior guest experiencesPerforming administrative functions, such as incident reporting and assisting with staff rosters, etcMeet and exceed contract cleaning requirementsDevelop and maintain excellent customer relations with the clientUnderstand customer's security, environmental and safety requirementsFollowing Occupational Health Safety and Environmental policies and proceduresResponding to general cleaning, periodical, preventative and emergency incidents or queriesTo be considered for the position you must have the following: Current Australian C class Driver's LicenceMust have permanent full work rights in AustraliaMust be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance CheckA minimum of 1-2 years experience in retail/commercial cleaningPrevious experience managinga teamStrong understanding of hard floor cleaning practices and related machineryKnowledge of cleaning practices, including infection controlExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalGood administrative skills and is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other computer applicationsAbility to give direction and instruction to peopleAbility to multi-task, be flexible and work under pressureConsistent attention to detailFlexibility to work weekendsWhat we offer you: Reward and recognition incentivesOngoing training and developmentA safe and supportive working environmentCareer developmentA family-oriented cultureFree uniformOnsite parkingIf you're a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with a commitment to providing excellent service and would like to be part of a key onsite team, we'd love to hear from you
