Interim Financial Controller

Accounting and Finance Consultant – Brisbane QLD Riverview Location, Manufacturing Industry, 3 months +
A rapidly growing manufacturing business in Ipswich with large contracts with the US requires the assistance of an interim Financial Controller for at least three months.
This role will see you take full control of the financial management of the business from payables through to budgets, management reporting, and analysis to financial reporting.
This role could be a temp to perm opportunity for the right person and will see you build a team in the long term.
There are significant opportunities for process, systems, and reporting improvements.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the responsibilities of the role will include:
Manage the financial operations, including preparation of financial statements Develop, review and prepare budgets and forecasts Statutory reporting and compliance, BAS, FBT, GST Month-end processing and drive management reporting for business decision making Preparation of management reports and KPI reporting Processing payables and receivables Systems and process improvements Stakeholder engagement and business partnering About You
The successful applicant will have/be:
CA or CPA qualified with many years of Financial Control experience Well-developed analytical skills and stakeholder engagement Willingness to complete the full set of accounts and reporting Strong systems abilities and a focus on process improvement Ability to commence at short notice What's on Offer?
