Crossing Supervisor

We are currently looking for multiple School Crossing Supervisors across HUME City Council to join our team in 2025.
As a School Crossing Supervisor your key role will be to help children, parents, and community members safely across the road, teach them how to use a crossing safely and provide a courteous service to pedestrians.
Hours of work will be rostered at the start or end of school days.
Locations available: Craigieburn Kalkallo Mickleham Westmeadows Duties will include but are not limited to: Assisting children, families, and pedestrians to safely cross at children's crossings and traffic lights Report all incidents, accidents, near misses and potential risks Maintain a high level of awareness and professionalism.
The role of School Crossing Supervisor is held in very high esteem in our communities.
In taking on this role, you'll become vital to the safety of our children, parents, teachers, and local motorists.

Successful candidates will have: Currently hold, or be willing to obtain, a Working with Childrens Check & Clear Police check Driver's Licence and have access to a reliable vehicle (ideal, but not a necessity) Availability Monday to Friday, from 7.30am to 9.00am and 2.30pm to 4.00pm.
