About the opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administration officer to support our workers' compensation team.
Based in Kelvin Grove (with a hybrid work option), this role performs a critical function supporting our team to achieve success in the management of claims injury/rehabilitation case management.
The role may also present opportunities for further exposure to injury management support and/or claims management for less complex cases across multiple jurisdictions.
Your new role will see you : Provide accurate, timely and efficient support to the administration of workers' compensation claims.
Provide exceptional customer service to our internal and external stakeholders to support timely and effective rehabilitation and claims management.
Assist our Self Insurance team with administrative duties including the input of claims into our database, data input of medical certificates and supporting documentation, processing of invoices for timely payments and verbal or written communication with our workers, managers, and external stakeholders.
Assist with administration and accounts processing tasks to support our wider team nationally.
Maintenance of the claims/injury management data system, as well as assistance in the reporting and analysis of data.
Provide document management support services where required including electronic document management, electronic filing, document compilation and mail outs.
About You: Effective communicator, with demonstrated people skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to build constructive and effective relationships to negotiate with and influence internal and external stakeholders Effective time management and coordination skills Strong organisational and planning abilities with attention to detail Demonstrated experience in Microsoft office Positive collaborator with a proactive attitude Experience in a self-insurance scheme would be highly regarded Our Benefits Our culture is both supportive and collaborative where you can make your role your own.
