ERP Technical Support / Project Manager / Senior Executive - IT Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of ERP or project implementations, ensuring successful project delivery as the project manager.
Facilitate discussions with clients to gather and document business requirements for ERP implementation.
Communicate project progress, updates, and issues to both clients and the development team, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Maintain comprehensive project planning documents and assist in project scoping and planning activities.
Actively engage with customers to ensure clear communication and understanding of their needs.
Contribute to process improvements and align project execution with business strategies.
Provide user training and support to end users, ensuring effective system adoption.
Proactively gather information from users to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring solutions meet business objectives.
Exhibit flexibility and professionalism in managing competing priorities and balancing complex work requirements.
Apply knowledge of finance, distribution, and construction industry concepts to support ERP implementation.
Technical Support Responsibilities:
Provide advanced technical support for ERP system issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Analyze and resolve system errors, debug issues, and collaborate with vendors to implement fixes.
Support database management tasks, including data migration, backups, and integrity checks.
Monitor and troubleshoot system integrations, including API and middleware issues, to ensure smooth operation.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by a superior to support ongoing project or system requirements.
Requirements:
Proficient in written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Malay, with a strong ability to learn new concepts.
Preferred: 3-5 years of work experience in the ERP software industry.
Possess at least a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in finance, accounting, IT, or ERP-related courses, with strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred: Experience or relevant knowledge of ERP Finance and Supply Chain modules.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax laws.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
Capable of working independently and willing to work overtime when necessary.
Self-motivated, quick learner with a proactive attitude, adaptable to change.
