Position: Venue and Events Coordinator This fixed-term position is available for a 9-month period between November 2024 until August 2025.
About Glenworth ValleyGlenworth Valley Wilderness Adventures (GVWA) is Australia's largest horse riding and outdoor adventure centre, welcoming approximately 250,000 guests annually onto our pristine 3000-acre wilderness property.
We specialize in adventure activities, accommodation, and events.
Purpose of the RoleWe require an exceptional Venue and Events Coordinator to provide outstanding customer service and event management for a broad range of events, generally accommodating groups of 20-200 guests.
What We Are Looking ForWe seek an enthusiastic individual with a 'can-do' attitude, outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and resilience.
You should be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and proactively anticipate issues.
RemunerationThis position offers an annual salary of $78,050 per annum including super (70,000 excluding super).
This is a full-time position with regular hours from Tuesday to Saturday, typically between 8.30am to 5.00pm or 9.00am to 5.30pm.

Key Responsibilities Coordinate the planning and operation of events ensuring they run smoothly.Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients.Maintain an accurate calendar of upcoming event bookings and manage logistics.Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.Essential Qualities and Skills Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple events and functions.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.General RequirementsGlenworth Valley is a non-smoking work environment.
Applicants must satisfy Child Protection legislation and provide a "Working with Children" clearance.
A First Aid certificate is required within 2 months of commencing the role, and applicants must own a reliable car and have a current NSW Licence.
