Primary Objective The Project Director is a senior leadership role responsible for managing multiple projects and ensuring their successful delivery.
Reporting to the General Manager, this position focuses on driving project outcomes, fostering collaboration across teams, and aligning projects with the company's strategic objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities Develop and oversee project strategies that align with the company's long-term goals.Make informed decisions to enhance project performance and achieve business objectives.Lead and mentor the project team, including Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Administrators, to promote a culture of excellence.Set clear performance goals and support the team in achieving them.Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and budgets, to ensure successful project delivery.Collaborate with department managers to allocate resources efficiently.Monitor project budgets and implement cost control measures.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.Identify and manage project risks, implementing proactive solutions to mitigate potential challenges.Ensure projects meet or exceed safety, quality, and compliance standards.Lead initiatives to improve processes and drive innovation within project execution.Track and report on project progress, using data to inform strategic decisions.Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.More than 15 years of experience managing large, complex projects.A proven track record of successful project delivery.Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.Demonstrated skills in strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making.Experience managing high-value contracts ($100M+).Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.Experience managing large-scale projects, particularly in renewable energy or construction.Knowledge of emerging technologies, industry regulations, and trends in renewable energy.Strong leadership skills with the ability to set and achieve strategic project goals.Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.Proficient in risk management, with the ability to develop and implement effective mitigation strategies.Flexible and adaptable in responding to changing project needs.Highly organized with strong time management skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
