Senior Bookkeeper

Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting (Accounting) We are a Bookkeeping business in Carrum Downs, providing excellent customer service for our clients.
We use different software packages such as MYOB, Xero, and Quickbooks.
We do their BAS preparation and also manage their reporting.
The position is Full Time.
We need someone who can work fast, independently, and has strong customer service skills.
Experience is a must.
Your duties would include: Management of multiple clients' data filesData entry from source documents and/or bank feedsReconciling accountsLiaising with clientsUsing your time management skills to meet deadlinesPreparation of the BASIdeally, you would possess: Very strong Xero background with a full understanding of how to work independently in clients' filesGood practical knowledge of AP and AR processesSolid understanding of General LedgerProficiency in MS Office suiteStrong time management skills and the ability to work independently to deadlinesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to develop and maintain detailed proceduresA can-do attitude and ability to self-motivateExperience working in more than 15 client files is a plusYour Qualifications/Experience could include (but not essential): Cert IV in Bookkeeping or equivalentExperience in Xero is advantageous but not necessaryPlease include in your application: Details of experience with Xero and MYOB and other relevant programs you have usedDetails of qualificationsThe hourly rate will be commensurate with the experience and ability the applicant brings to the position.
