About The Role We are looking for multiple Telecommunications or Electronics Technicians to assist with the installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems.
In this role, you will combine your technical experience with strong customer service to provide timely response to equipment issues.
You don't need to have prior experience working with critical communications technologies or on mine or industrial sites: we offer comprehensive training and support, so you can work safely to fault find and repair equipment.
Our roles have the flexibility to travel to client's sites and be home most nights, or work shifts to make the most of home and family time.

The role will include the following tasks:
Design and configure IP networksRepair, maintain and install radio communication, CCTV systems and wireless networksFault identification and repairConduct RF active and passive site surveysRespond to equipment issues and problem solve to achieve positive outcomes in a timely mannerAssist with commissioning and start-up of new installationsLiaise with vendors, suppliers, engineers and site-based resources as requiredWork with engineering and project teams to develop technical solutions for clientsWork both in an office environment, and onsite with our customers and partners.About You To be successful in this role, you will enjoy working in a team environment and demonstrate a strong and professional commitment to safe work practices.
Prior experience in the installation and maintenance or service of communications, sensing/telemetry or similar electronics systems is highly regarded.

Requirements Essential Criteria
Cert III or IV in Telecommunications or ElectronicsStructured thinking and sound analytical skills in fault-finding and problem solvingPositive attitude, highly self motivated with good attention to detailDemonstrated ability to follow instructions, work with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a teamExcellent communication and customer service skillsValid Australian manual C class drivers licence and ability to travel as requiredDesirable - considered favourably
Demonstrated experience in the installation, maintenance and fault identification of digital radio systemsExperience in IP network technologies, configuration and fault identificationInitial response first aid certificate (or higher)Working at Heights (high risk license with EWP over 11m), and in Enclosed SpacesCisco qualificationsRajant certification or experienceACMA OPEN Licence (including structured, coaxial, optic fibre endorsements)Defence experience desirableReports To: Operations Manager
Locations: Mackay and Newcastle regions
Position type: Full time and flexible
Salary package: $150k-$200k (depending on experience) includes superannuation, generous income protection insurance and wellness vouchers.
Opportunity to earn $2500 when we hire someone you recommend via our Referral Program.
