Being a responsive organisation in a niche market, we attract a high-calibre workforce who share our passion for developing new solutions and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.About the OpportunityAs a Senior Project Engineer for ICON, you will have the opportunity to further develop project management skills under the guidance of experienced project managers on a mix of brownfield and greenfield projects, in the areas of offshore infrastructure, drilling rig/platform & equipment design and modifications, and field development projects. The Senior Project Engineer role at ICON provides a solid foundation for moving into a Project Management role on larger projects.About YouB.Eng. in a relevant discipline (typically Structural, Mechanical, or Naval Architect, but other disciplines are welcome to apply).7+ years post graduate relevant engineering experience, including 5+ years in oil and gas.Proven capability in successfully delivering discrete packages of work including design, sub-contractor management or offshore installation scopes.Conversant with current offshore codes and specifications, with comprehensive knowledge of DNV, API and AISC.Sound understanding of design processes, manufacturing, onshore construction, offshore transportation, and installation methods.Offshore experience in planning, managing, and executing construction and installation phases of a project is desirable.Ability to provide cost estimating and tender/proposal preparation.You are a collaborative team member, regardless of level of the organization, and can effectively communicate and work well with a diverse range of people.Self-motivated, and able to work autonomously, you are results focused, proactive in your approach, and recognize your limitations.You plan, you are measured in your execution, but you are flexible and agile at the same time.You are engaging, with a natural ability to influence where people just like working with youExciting BenefitsICON values our employees and here are just a few of the many benefits you can enjoy by joining us:A fantastic gym (complete with tennis court & pool) plus weekly group fitness classes and excellent end-of-trip facilities.An active and fully funded social club with weekly morning teas and monthly events.Mentors for all new employees and ICON supports further learning and development opportunities.Flexible working arrangements.9-day fortnight for employees.A confidential and free Employee Assistance Program (your health and wellbeing are our top priority).When you join ICON, you are guaranteed an engaging career with a company who really looks after its employees.
