Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) is the owner and developer of the Osborne Naval Shipyards, supporting the Commonwealth's Naval Shipbuilding Plan.
ANI is responsible for designing, constructing and managing the shipyard infrastructure, including the new Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard to support the AUKUS program, as well as operating and maintaining common use facilities.
There is an opportunity for a Document Controller to join ANI's Project team in the city office.
Reporting to the Document Control & Systems Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective control of documentation for the project and contributing to continuous process improvement.
In this role, your duties will include:
Ensuring compliance with document control processes and procedures Collaboration with the project and cross-functional teams ensuring milestones are met Ensuring project documentation is processed accurately and efficiently Providing support and guidance to the project team on document control practices Assisting with training of project personnel in the document control system and requirements You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a document controller in a project construction/engineering environment.
You will have strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, and sound organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
You will have strong computer literacy with experience in document management systems and business applications including MS 365.
Prior experience in the use of Aconex would be an advantage.
This position will suit a person with good interpersonal skills, initiative, and a team focus who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and is willing to be flexible in undertaking a range of tasks in a collaborative team environment.
Minimum Requirements: Applicants must be Australian citizens and either hold or be able to gain and maintain a Defence security clearance.
