Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, the overall description of this role is to provide high-quality nursing support for our oncology patients. This is a permanent part-time role, working between Monday and Friday, with variable start and finish times between 7:00am and 7:00pm.
Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional cancer care to our patients and their familiesDeliver an unparalleled patient experienceManage and coordinate the administration of chemotherapy and supportive care treatments in a busy day hospital environmentSupport and encourage the development of less experienced nursing staffProvide leadership and support to the nursing teamPromote clinical excellence with an emphasis on safe and high-quality nursing practiceSupport implementation of new systems, therapies and clinical trialsActively motivate others and maintain an environment of continuous quality improvementAbout Icon Cancer Centre: Icon Cancer Centre are pioneers of private cancer care in Australia with over 35 years' experience.
