The successful individual will lead the financial functions for RHRF, overseeing all transactional processes, with particular focus on accounts payable and receivable functions.
The role will be responsible for the review and improvement of all financial processes in relation to the Foundation and will be expected to develop and maintain regular financial reporting, as well as the preparation of annual financial statements.To be successful in this position, you will need to be results and service orientated.
This role is an ideal opportunity for an individual seeking to grow and develop the next stage of their career in a small team.Key responsibilities include:Oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including debtor follow up and cash collection;Preparation of monthly and year end journals in SAP;Preparation of monthly financial reports and yearly financial statements;Process improvement and identification of areas for improvement in financial processes within RHRF;In conjunction with the RHRF CEO manage the RHRF Risk and Audit Committee, including preparation of papers and execution of key action items.To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:Extensive knowledge and experience in SAP ERP softwareA clear and demonstrated knowledge of Financial Accounting practices and ability to prepare profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reportsHighly developed communication skills, both written and verbal including ability to prepare reports for senior executivesSolid leadership and emotional intelligence with proven ability to engage others and work as part of a teamCapable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously within a small teamCreative thinking and ability to problem solveBenefitsProfessional Advancement: Recognition and Professional Development.

Operations of RHRF commenced in 2017, upon receipt of a core grant from the Paul Ramsay Foundation.
This grant has led to the establishment of key research projects and a robust set of research programs over the past seven years with a focus on mental health, cancer, cardiology, musculoskeletal and rehabilitation research.
The core value proposition of RHRF is to fund research that will lead to actionable improvement of patient outcomes, preferencing Australian-based Ramsay hospitals/pharmacies.
As RHRF evolves the Foundation continues to develop key priorities in research.
RHRF continues to develop initiatives with a current focus on social determinants of health and how these can be addressed through innovation and partnership.
