Finance Manager

Swift Energy Group is a leading and well-respected Electrical & Renewables company based in Toowoomba and Brisbane.
We are currently seeking an experienced and versatile Finance Manager to join our friendly team in Toowoomba.
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the overall accounting, operational finance, management reporting, invoicing, and insurance requirements of the company.
You will ensure timely, effective, efficient, and accurate financial operations and reporting are maintained.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for processing payroll and assisting with general HR functions.
The right applicant will need to be passionate about what they do, take pride in producing quality work, be flexible and easy to deal with, and enjoy interacting and working closely with a team built on trust.
Responsibilities will include:
Finance Manager Provide timely and accurate support to the financial services operations of the company Submission of BAS/PAYG/Payroll Tax/Superannuation Manage accounts payable/receivable and other related ad hoc finance tasks Cashflow management Monthly reconciliations and management reporting Project reporting and cost reviews Process customer invoicing and manage debtors Process supplier payments Bookkeeping for other entities Bank Matters, Equipment Finance Manage all insurance needs for the company Liaison with external Accountant and other stakeholders Payroll / General HR
Collate timesheets and process fortnightly payroll Process Leave Applications & Workcover claims General HR duties and correspondence working with external HR Consultant to communicate legislation changes.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar senior financial role.
Strong knowledge of financial and payroll processes and ability to keep up to date with relevant legislation.
Excellent management, financial reporting, and budgeting skills.
Experience with HR functions and processing payroll Ability to work with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels.
