Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Manager, Cloud Platforms.This is a permanent employment opportunity located at our client's Symonston ACT office, with flexible working arrangements available. As the selected candidate, you will: Contribute to the strategic direction for cloud adoption and usage across the organization.Lead the design, development, and support of enterprise cloud platforms and services to enable effective use of cloud technologies.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align cloud platforms with business needs and maintain service standards.Ensure cloud solutions are secure, maintainable, and cost-effective, enabling self-service capabilities.Establish governance practices to ensure compliance with security and management goals.Manage a team of cloud specialists, fostering team capability through mentoring, training, and career development.Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture while driving continuous improvement and user engagement.To be successful in this role, you should have: Demonstrated experience managing cloud platforms (Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service) in enterprise environments, particularly on Azure or AWS.A proven ability to lead high-performing teams to deliver and improve user-centric services.Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholders.It is desirable if you have: Relevant Azure and/or AWS certifications.Familiarity with modern delivery approaches (e.g., Agile, Lean, DevOps) and tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, or GitHub.Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain an appropriate security clearance.
