Overview of the Clinic: History: The practice has been at this location for 20 years, with Thorne Dental being established for over 30 years.
Now operating as Maven Dental Armidale, the practice benefits from its picturesque creekland view and central location near shops and food.Clinic Condition: The practice recently underwent a rebrand in October 2022, including a fresh coat of paint and new signage.
However, it is in need of updates, including chairs and blinds.
The clinic's interior appears somewhat tired.Previous Services: Implants and orthodontic/Invisalign (formerly offered by Dr. Geoff).Future Needs: A gap exists in implant and orthodontic services.Clients: Varied demographic: families, well-off individuals, hospital voucher patients.
Parking: On-site free parking for both patients and staff.
Practice Set-Up: Chairs/Treatment Units: 4 chairs, all set up for right-hand use.
Rooms are assigned to Dr. Den, Dr. Peter (during visits), and the room previously used by Dr. Geoff.Clinical Imaging: 2x intra-oral cameras, 1x external camera, 1x Diagnocam, 1x Diagnodent, Phosphor plate x-ray system.CAD/CAM: iTero intraoral scanner.
E4D milling machine on-site but not used for over 7 years.Microscopes: None.
Dr. Peter usually brings his own when visiting.Plant: Recently updated compressor and suction unit, capable of supporting 4 chairs working simultaneously.Job DescriptionProvide high-quality dental care to patients.Diagnose and treat oral diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums.Perform routine cleanings, extractions, fillings, and other dental procedures.Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care.Collaborate with a team of dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care.QualificationsUnrestricted AHPRA Registration and Professional Indemnity InsuranceAuthorization to Work in AustraliaAdditional InformationAs Australasia's largest dental support organisation (DSO), Abano Healthcare is your team behind the practice.
