This division plays a crucial role in ensuring the success & integrity of projects & programs within the organisation. The division now has an opening for an Operational Risk & Compliance Manager. You will join a small & highly engaged team based in Sydney who work a hybrid mix of in the office & home.Reporting to the Regional Head of 1st Line Risk, STO, you will provide value adding risk compliance expertise to the STO domain. You will drive the comprehensive implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), encompassing project related risk governance & the monitoring & reporting on control effectiveness. The primary focus is to seamlessly & innovatively integrate all aspects of the RMF into the day-to-day operations of STO business processes. Furthermore, the role actively fosters a culture of risk awareness & compliance within the bank.Top Role Accountabilities:Driving effective risk management outcomes for the STO domain through the RMF systems, structures, policies, processes & people meet business objectivesLeading &/or supporting the STO Team on the change & project related risk & compliance activities in line with the Project & Change FrameworksCollaboratively supporting the project teams to deliver initiatives & outcomes within agreed risk governance processes & the RMF. This includes performing & reviewing risks & controls assessments related to project & change initiativesCoordinating risk & compliance support during the transition phase from projects into Business as UsualEnsuring STO & broader bank's incidents & findings are identified, recorded & remediated in a sustainable & timely mannerGiving insights into emerging risks through innovative risk analytics, incidents deep dive, findings & root-cause analysis, draft lessons learned & provide practical recommendations to the STO businessReviewing policy changes for business appropriateness, & support STO process owners to identify impacted people, processes or systems, & support business to conduct gap analyses of new policies to current risks & controlsLeading the STO domain as the Privacy, Data Management, Policy & RAS ChampionSupporting the Regional Head of First Line to develop, drive & implement the First Line strategy & agendaTo be successful, you will have:A minimum of 5+ years related experience in 1st &/ or 2nd Line risk with a focus on operational & compliance risk, controls &//or projects is essentialDemonstrated experience in 1st or 2nd Line Advisory roles, in the financial services sectorExperience in risk analytics & dashboard reporting e.g. Power BISolid operational risk knowledgeExperience in assessing, managing, evaluating & reviewing risk profilesStrong stakeholder & relationship management skillsExperience in communicating & managing change including delivering training to staff on risk managementWhat we're proud to offer you:Rabo@Anywhere is our hybrid way of working at Rabobank & for Australia, that means we have a blend of time working between the office and homeWellbeing leave - These 2 extra leave days support greater work/life balance & is just another way we are helping our employees to lead happier, healthier, & more fulfilling livesEducation Assistance Program - Rabobank values the development of its people & has a great Education Assistance Program to assist with professional developmentParental Leave that supports you & your family while giving you the freedom & flexibility to enjoy this special time (up-to 14 weeks paid leave)Bonus and Additional Leave - We realise sometimes 4 weeks Annual Leave isn't enough At Rabobank we provide an incentive for eligible employees to receive 1 extra week Annual Leave & an option to purchase another 2 weeks Annual LeaveExtra Insurance - Rabobank recognises that employees need to protect their financial wellbeing, in the event of serious illness, injury, or even death.
