Join our Governance and Structure team in our Prudential Risk Team who work with a wide range of stakeholders across Macquarie to meet its obligations to the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority.

What role will you play?
As a Senior Analyst, you will work closely with Senior Management to influence the strategic direction of contagion risk, and review and challenge frameworks that support compliance with other key APRA prudential standards.
You will provide timely and accurate advice on APRA's requirements and expectations to Macquarie's staff and businesses, including reviewing proposed new business and transactions for compliance with the relevant prudential standards and the appropriate management of conflicts.
You will also play a key role in projects and initiatives which mitigate contagion risk and contribute to the successful implementation of enhancements to the contagion risk framework, policies and controls.
What you offer Demonstrable understanding of wholesale banking products and experience in Financial Services in a Risk, Treasury, Regulatory Compliance or Legal role Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at multiple levels Attention to detail, with the ability to solve complex problems Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Law is desirable but not essential.

About the Risk Management Group In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks.
Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
