Heavy Fabrication Boilermakers & Welders : Day Shift & Afternoon Shift Vacvator is a privately owned Australian manufacturer of hydro-vacuum excavation trucks, dry vacuum and jetting equipment.
As industry leaders, we are rapidly expanding and are currently looking for 4 Heavy Fabrication Boilermakers and Welders to join our team.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic, functional, and expanding team.
Tasks and Responsibilities: Fabrication including marking out, cutting out, tacking, welding, and finishing of jobsUse of various machine tools and hand tools in the manufacturing processReading & understanding technical drawingsAchieving production targetsMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentQualifications & Experience: Previous welding experience, demonstrating proficiency in MIG weldingSelection Criteria: Excellent time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate clearly both written and verballyHighly motivated and able to work unassisted and unsupervisedA strong commitment to a safe work environmentA high standard of productivityA good work ethic, self-motivation, and a positive attitudeWillingness to develop new skillsHave your own hand toolsWhat We Offer: Above award pay rateExposure to the latest technologies in the industryA supportive and friendly team environmentUniformInclusion in Vacvator's uncapped & achievable productivity bonus schemeAccess to Salary Sacrifice optionsReferral bonus for recommending a friend to work with usIn conjunction with the above, the successful applicant must have a high level of initiative and a 'can do' attitude, be physically fit, and well presented.
This is a Permanent Full-Time position from Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week available for an immediate start.
Day shift hours are from 6.00am to 2.30pm, and Afternoon shift hours are from 2.30pm-11.00pm alternating weekly roster.
The position is based in Goulburn, NSW. Pay rate is based on experience and qualifications, plus the opportunity to work in a clean, modern workshop is available to the suitable applicant.
