Mining - Operations (Mining, Resources & Energy) 8/6 days only roster | FIFO from Perth to the Roy Hill Mine Competitive salary and three annual bonus schemes 18 Weeks paid Parental Leave for primary caregivers Company contribution towards private health cover for employees and immediate family About the role: The Health & Safety team is currently seeking a Advisor Health & Safety to join them on a 8/6 days only roster based at Roy Hill Mine.
Reporting to the Superintendent Health & Safety, you will be responsible for creating value by enabling health and safety through foresight about the changing shape of risk and facilitating action before people are harmed, and supporting line management to implement and improve safety processes and practices that meet organisational safety objectives.
Duties: Provide thought and evidence-based advice to Operations, Superintendents, Supervisors, and the workforce Identify opportunities and make recommendations to enable safe and effective operations Facilitate and lead significant incident investigations and produce high-quality actionable insights Provide data-driven safety performance reports and insights Facilitate the development and delivery of safety training Engage and coach front-line leaders and the workforce in physical and psychosocial risk reduction Skills and Experience: High level communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills Knowledge and understanding of fatality risk management and prevention and critical control framework Incident Investigation Training - either ICAM, Tap Root, Essential Factors, Blueline Lead Auditing Training Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or Risk Management About the Company: Roy Hill is a world-class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.
