Lead Educator - Banyo, Australia - Journey Early LearningDescriptionLead Educator Role A part-time Lead Educator position is available at a modern childcare centre in Banyo, QLD, working with children up to six years old and supporting their social, cultural, emotional, educational, and physical development.About the Centre Journey Early Learning Banyo is a 61-place centre with landscaped native gardens and indoor environments designed to inspire creativity. The centre is led by Centre Manager Hazel, who has over 20 years of experience in the sector and prioritizes creating a sense of belonging and respect for children and families.Key ResponsibilitiesWork as a team member to provide a safe and stimulating environment for childrenAssist in planning and reviewing daily routines to meet children's needsDevelop high-quality programs for each child based on their interestsConduct regular observations and gather information to support program designBuild trusting relationships with families through regular communicationDemonstrate a commitment to providing a safe, caring, and supportive environmentRequirementsExperience working with children up to six years oldUnderstanding of the ECA code of Ethics and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the ChildAbility to develop high-quality programs for childrenCommitment to providing a safe and supportive environmentACECQA Approved Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards)Current Valid Working with Children CheckFirst Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma CertificatesFull Rights to Work in AustraliaAbout Journey Early Learning At Journey Early Learning, we aim to create a safe, secure, and homely environment where everyone feels welcome.
