Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.Because this is a Delivery focused role, you will need to be based in Sydney.Your future teamYou will lead the delivery of the workplace built form including the construction schedule and budget and be responsible for monitoring and reporting on each.
Risk and opportunity identification and management will be an important part of your role.Working in collaboration with the other SLT Workstream Leads, you'll ensure that Atlassian's obligations under our AFL are satisfied and that our Landlord's responsibilities are delivered.You will be reporting into the Head of Real Estate.What you'll doYou will be responsible for:Interfacing with all the aspects of the base building including design, construction, site coordination and WHSCollaboration with internal Atlassian partners and consulting partners that we use across multiple disciplinesProject feasibility, commercial management, budget and costingsSupport Procurement of external project teams, including design and creative consultants, technical consultants, certifiers etc.Support Tender management, supply chain procurementDevelop a project delivery strategy that is consistent with the AFL programme and contractual obligations and which is consistently and clearly communicated with the internal Atlassian and external project teamRisk management and the point of escalationReporting, including JWM, Atlas, WSC, and various approval requestsYour background15 years of Project Management experience with at least 5 years on the client/end-user side10 years experience of leading teamsSuperior written and oral communication skillsExperience with the construction delivery of major (+20,000m2) workplace development projects in AustraliaYou have performed in senior roles as part of a large cross functional organisation and are comfortable dealing with ambiguity.Atlassian offers a variety of perks and benefits to support you, your family and to help you engage with your local community.
