Job details Location: Sydney Salary: $679 - $918 per day Job Type: Contract Discipline: FM, Real Estate & Property Reference: V-120209 Posted: 1 day ago Share this job Job description NSW Government Agency Flexible on Location (CBD/Paramatta/Gosford/Wollongong) Contract Role - 8 months $680 - $918 per day + Super (depending on experience) Primary Purpose of the Role Provide a broad range of property management initiatives, operational and security support to meet the Workplace Operations strategic deliverables.
Contribute to the development and monitoring of business and project plan objectives and tracking progress and performance against agreed indicators to ensure that the business meets operational requirements, timeframes, compliance requirements, and key objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The "WHAT" to be delivered and outcomes to be achieved Provide leadership and coaching to the Workplace Operations team to ensure high-quality facilities management, security, and onsite experience for employees and other stakeholders.
Develop, implement, and promote policies, procedures, and ways of working to ensure a focus on continuous improvement and compliance for workplace operations across all locations.
Actively contribute to the management of any issues to ensure effective resolution with minimal risk to the department.
In consultation with the People Experience leadership team, monitor business operations to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and governance frameworks, providing advice and recommending action where appropriate on issues relating to risk, budget, and initiatives.
Lead the execution of Facilities strategies through oversight and optimisation of contract operations, delivery, and performance monitoring.
Negotiate contracts and coordinate the work performed by externally sourced providers to ensure that services are provided in accordance with agreed quality standards, budget, and timeframes.
Monitor the implementation of initiatives and provide advice on actions to respond to issues relating to risk, budget, and resource management.
Lead and/or contribute to projects, development of policy, systems, or processes, and conduct research as required.
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enable the continuous review of operations to improve the quality of business services to the Departments employees, customers, and visitors.
Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to prioritise and manage the volume of work and resources to deliver to deadlines.
