Why you should join our mission: Unique opportunity to join a rocket company based on the Gold Coast, AustraliaExperience the buzz of working and contributing towards a rocket launch - Join the team now to be onboard in time for our launch dateWork in a passionate, vibrant and welcoming team that's driven by its culture that emphasizes safety and conducts initiatives such as team BBQsExpand your skills and knowledge into the innovative aerospace industryHow you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space: Leading a team of Systems EngineersCoordinating with the Product Heads to release System Level design artifacts to the Engineering DepartmentsConducting impact assessments and facilitating Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) produced by the Configuration Control Board (CCB)Auditing Systems Engineering reviews produced by the Engineering Departments to ensure high quality standards are met and to collate into updated System Level design artifactsSupporting the Product Heads in ensuring that program objectives are on-schedule and on budgetSupporting the development of Engineering Management Processes and ToolsEnsuring that engineering activities are conducted and documented in accordance with Gilmour Space policies, plans and procedureOther duties as requested by ManagementMandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a relevant qualificationJunior Lead: 2+ years of engineering experience (excluding internships)Senior Lead: 5+ years of engineering experience (excluding internships)Senior Lead: Maintains or is eligible for CPENG and RPEQIn-depth understanding of Traditional and Modern Systems Engineering practicesProven ability to operate in dynamic, fast-paced environmentsDemonstrated resilience in high-stress situationsNV1 Security Clearance eligibleCompliance with the Defence Trade Controls Amendment Act 2024Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Formal Systems Engineering Training2+ years of design engineering experience5+ years of System Engineering experience5+ years working in the aerospace industryFamiliarity with the principles of Model Based Systems EngineeringFamiliarity with modern web-based PLM and MRP Software solutionsIn-depth experience with industry standard Systems Engineering Standards (Nasa Systems Engineering Handbook, ECSS, INCOSE, SEBoK, etc.
