About the role As the Senior HSE Risk and Assurance Specialist, you will be empowered to support and provide your expertise in the field of HSE risk; to identify opportunities for performance improvement across the SGSPAA group.
You will review relevant data and external factors to design, deliver, and implement Group HSE assurance activities, along with continuous improvement initiatives.
Your goal is to enhance the HSE Risk and Assurance Framework through proactive data analysis and informed advice.
Key Responsibilities include: Foster a culture of collaboration by championing the Enterprise Risk Management framework to enhance HSE practices and achieve shared goals.Partner with operational teams to identify HSE risks and implement supportive and effective controls.Guide HSE Risk Register reviews, offering thoughtful and data-informed recommendations to improve outcomes.Support the development and tracking of HSE performance measures, KPIs, and risk evaluations through comprehensive analysis.Nurture awareness and understanding of the HSE Risk and Assurance Framework by providing guidance on systems, tools, and processes.Work closely with stakeholders to co-create meaningful improvement initiatives and programs that drive positive change.About You You are an experienced professional with a strong background in HSE risk management, holding relevant tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, OHS/WHS, or Environmental disciplines.
Your expertise in project and change management, combined with your skills in risk facilitation, auditing, and data analytics, enables you to deliver informed, strategic recommendations.
