Job Purpose The Service Delivery Officer is key to ensure adherence to and continuous improvement of service standards and customer experience while supporting the delivery of optimum bus services' performance.
This role is primarily responsible for supporting the management of the day-to-day operations of the bus depot in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner in accordance with relevant acts, regulations, company policies and procedures and Maintenance Management System.
This role will deputies the Service Delivery manager as required.
Responsibilities Support the safe and efficient provision of outstanding bus services and customer service experience, whilst meeting relevant contractual KPIs including but not limited to on time running and budget expectations.Allocate appropriately qualified resources for all shifts in a timely manner to meet expected schedules in compliance with safety requirements.Review and adjust shifts to ensure the allocation and location of resources is meeting any new operational requirements including unplanned events, unplanned absence and changes in the timetables.Support the delivery of special events and rail replacement service.Report and investigate operational, safety and environmental incidents and non-conformances, contribute to root cause analysis and deliver appropriate action plans.Manage incident, hazard and near miss reporting.Work in conjunction with HSEQ and People and Culture Safety Divisions in relation to injured employee and fatigue management.Proactively support the delivery of Operations Business Plan and business objectives.Support continuous improvement initiatives including but not limited to processes and employee engagement and highlight process efficiencies.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders involved in delivering an outstanding service to customers.Maintain the professional standard of driver performance including supporting all recruitment and training activities.Ensure the implementation of and compliance to standard operating procedures.Other duties and responsibilities may be required as determined with your manager from time to time.Qualifications and Experience Minimum 2 years' industry experience or relevant experience supervising frontline teams in a heavy vehicle environment.Proven computer literacy, including strong knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and computer based rostering systems.A current MR License- or willingness to upgrade.A current WWCC Check- or willingness to obtain.A Current Bus Driver Authority Card- or willingness to obtain.Who are we?
