We are actively seeking a Bar Manager to join our team.

Mjølner is a sophisticated and fun restaurant created in Thor's image, treating guests to a contemporary interpretation of Viking feasts and celebrations with a sense of escapism.
A completely immersive experience, guests enter through the heavy hand-carved wooden door, passing underneath an enormous Viking Ship jutting from the wall setting the scene for the epic food, beverage and service experience to come.
Starting with a welcome 'Skål' to the old Norse Gods served in custom glass horns, the food offering at Mjølner is the undoubted hero of the venue.
Designed to surprise, delight and most importantly feast, our signature succulent mains cooked on rotisserie include Bird, Beast, Fish and Veg.
Key Responsibilities: Managing the batching program and being hands-on during service.
Leading our bar team and ensuring our menu and drinks are on-trend.
Driving creativity within the team to maintain the quality of the drinks list.
Assisting and guiding team members through entering suggested cocktail competitions.
Working alongside an incredible team to provide memorable, personal, and unique drinking and dining experiences for customers.
Ensuring product consistency with the high Mjølner standard.
Managing a P&L, weekly budget, forecasting, and COGS costing.
Continuing the legacy to push growth, training, and the right culture within the venue and team.
What You'll Bring: 2+ years management experience in a similar role, with a strong knowledge of cocktails and spirits.
Intermediate knowledge of beers, wine, spirits, and cocktails.
A passion for creating signature cocktails to a world-class standard.
Experience in managing a batching program.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
Sociable and enjoy delivering a pleasurable and memorable experience for our guests.
Excellent management of team and guest satisfaction.
Strong customer focus and passion for the industry.
High level of business, management, and financial skills with a commitment to achieving outstanding results.
Ability to manage a P&L, weekly budget, forecasting, and COGS costing.
Commitment to personal progression and assisting in the progression of your team.
Proven leadership skills and a team player.
Incredible communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Able to work quickly and efficiently.
