Interim Finance Manager

This high-impact role offers the chance to influence key business decisions.
Role Overview As Interim Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the ASX reporting process, with a focus on the half-year end and year-end busy period.
You will also play a key role in shaping finance processes and driving business improvements following acquisitions.
Collaborating with the finance team, you'll ensure the accuracy of analyses, management accounts, and various financial reports.
Responsibilities: Monthly management reporting and ASX financial reporting (4D and 4E)External tax compliance and auditHands-on month-end processing, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsGroup consolidation process and related schedulesPrepare monthly management accounts and variance analysisCashflow reporting and analysis of financial statements from Equity Partner FirmsMonitor Equity Partner Firms' Debtors and WIPPrepare statutory and ASX reports, notes, and disclosuresProduction of subsidiary accounts and verification of workbooks from Equity PartnersOversee Group lease system and analysis of new leasesAssist M&A team with financial support and decision-makingPrepare final journal entries and accounting papers for completed transactionsMonitor cash flows and completion processesLong-term incentive calculations and impairment assessmentsAd-hoc projects and impact assessments for accounting standards/regulationsApprove weekly AP runs, bi-monthly direct debits, and adviser paymentsReview surplus fund sweeps to corporate bank accountsReview annual FBT return and assist with income tax return preparationReview monthly BAS, IAS, and payroll taxAssist with debt covenant reporting and cashflow forecastsAssist with budget and reforecast data inputsManage assigned audit requests and statutory reportsDirect management of two accountantsEnsure compliance with regulations, process improvements, and system integration projectCandidate Profile CA/CPA qualifiedMinimum 6 years work experience post CA/CPA qualification requiredExperience in statutory reporting and group consolidationsSelf-sufficient and hands-on experience in end-to-end month-end processingStrong communication skills with all levels of businessConfident in using and adapting to different technologiesHigh level of professionalism and integrityEmotionally intelligent, resilient and resourcefulA capacity to deliver tight deadlinesCapability to work effectively in a dynamic fast paced workplace environmentStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsCulture & Benefits This fast-paced ASX listed Financial Services origination with a culture that drives excellence and is rapidly growing.
